Dr. Hallett obtained a Masters in Health Law from York University Osgoode Hall. Dr. Hallett also works in the general and complex care pediatric units and in the emergency department at McMaster Children’s Hospital. She returned to McMaster to complete a Neonatal Fellowship, following which she joined the Department of Pediatrics as staff Neonatologist, covering both the NICU and Neonatal follow-up clinic. Her interest in medical education led to a period of international work, and upon her return she served as Academic Director in the Physician Assistant Education Program at McMaster, enhancing pediatric curriculum and introducing simulations. Clinically she contributed to pediatric care in the division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, and in the Hamilton community.
